WHERE Do You Hear God?
August 28, 2018 7:26 pmIf someone came up to you and asked you, “Where do you hear God”?, what would you say? If you are like most people you would either say “I don’t know” or “On the inside of me”. But what if you could specifically KNOW exactly WHERE you hear God. I believe once you know for yourself personally where God speaks to you, your life will never be the same.
The day before I was going to speak at my How To Hear God MORE Clearly Workshop in Bloomington, Minnesota this summer, the Lord showed me where I hear Him. This revelation is so simple, that you will be able to teach others where to hear God for themselves.
The Lord said to me…
Hear
Here
I asked Him what that meant because they both sound exactly the same. Then He said you hear Me in your heart. I knew that already because one day He told me to “get out of my head”. In other words, I was trying to figure out what God was saying to me in my head, instead of listening to His still, small voice in my heart. But what He revealed to me next, totally changed the way I hear God.
What Do You See In Your HEART?
The Lord asked me to take the “T” off of heart. Hear. Then He said to take the “H” off of hear. Ear. Are you starting to see where you hear God? In your heart is where you hear Him. What He showed me after that, I will remember the rest of my life.
God showed me a heart and then split it in two. You know what it looked like? EARS.
I want you to ponder that revelation for a moment. The Lord just gave me an amazing revelation of WHERE I hear God. During the Workshop, He also wanted me to share where we CAN hear God at anytime. You should have seen the “light bulbs” go off in their minds. They got it! Do you?
Heart To Heart Conversation
God wants to have a heart to heart conversation with you, not a head to head conversation. He speaks to you Spirit to spirit. You will hear God’s still, small voice in your heart and not your head. You will experience more confidence and peace simply knowing where to hear God for you and for others.
Imagine having a sit down talk with God Almighty. What would you like to share from your heart with Him? He wants you to share how you feel, what you like and even dislike. Why? Because He cares about you and every detail of your life. You were created to have fellowship with Him. Isn’t it time you have a conversation with God?
Know God More Intimately
The Lord truly wants you to know Him more intimately, but what does that entail? He wants you to be more open, honest, transparent and vulnerable with Him. Now since you know WHERE you hear the Lord, you can focus on your heart and not your head when you listen to God. This will take time to find your “Sweet Spot” when you are listening and hearing what God is speaking to your heart.
The more transparent you chose to be with the Lord, the more intimate relationship you will have with Him. One of the biggest challenges most people face is not finding someone safe to be transparent with. But God is the SAFEST One you will ever meet. He is gentle, kind, encouraging, the best listener and He understands you like no one else.
Now that you know exactly where you hear God, its time for you to find a quiet place and turn off all distractions. If this is new to you, I understand what you are going through. We all have to start somewhere. I am super excited for you to hear God so clearly simply by you knowing where to hear Him so you can have those personal, intimate conversations with God.
How has this Revelation given you hope to hearing God?
