Trust Is Easier Than You Think

Imagine what your life would look like if you truly did trust. Trust is easier than you think when you know how God wants you to trust Him.

God created you to trust Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. You can trust Him because God created you to trust Him with your heart. What God originally designed for your life is much easier than you can ever imagine.

Why would God make your life complicated when He can simplify it for you?

The challenge most of us have is learning how to trust God. The first step you must take in learning how to trust Him is simply getting to know Him. The more you know who God truly is, the easier it is for you to trust.

So how do you GET to know God?

Study God In The Bible

You start with reading about WHO God is in the Bible. God makes it so obvious that He is loving, trustworthy and faithful. The key is to BELIEVE what God says in His Word is true. When you get to know Him by studying the Bible, then you can take the next step.

Having A Conversation With God

Yes you can have a conversation with God at any time. He is listening to you when you talk with Him. Instead of talking AT God or TO God, talk WITH Him. It will change your approach on talking with God Almighty.

The Bible says when you call upon Him, He will answer you. Now the answers He may give you may not be what you want, but God knows what is best for you, doesn’t He? So having a conversation with God will help you trust Him more and more.

Ask God Questions

If you really want to get to know anyone where you trust them, you’ve got to ask them questions to find out what’s in their hearts. The same is true with God in regards to asking questions.

He encourages you in the Bible to ask Him questions. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and you shall receive.” God knows you have a lot of questions and He is waiting for you to ask Him the RIGHT QUESTIONS. I believe the Right Questions are the ones He wants you to ask Him. So ask God, “Lord, what questions do You want me to ask You?” Then listen and ask those questions. He knows the answers you need.

Invest 1 On 1 Time With God

You GET to know God when you chose to invest time with Him each day. Many times He wants you to be still and know that He IS God. Just being with Him can be more than enough.

In His presence is a time of refreshing. Do you need to be refreshed right now? If so, then invest time with God so you can know His heart for you and for others. He’s waiting for you.

Remember What God Has Done

God has come through for you over and over again. Many times you may not have known it was God who was working behind the scenes for you. If you love God and are all called according to His purpose, THEN He is working out ALL things for your good.

Remember what He has ALREADY done in your life. Also listen to testimonies of what God has done in the lives of others. Why? It will build your confidence in Him that He is trustworthy. What He did for others, He can do for you.

You see it is easier than you think to trust God. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Since you are His child, then why would it be difficult for you to trust Him? He makes all things possible to those who believe.

Ask God to show you what you can do right now to help you trust Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. I promise you, He will do that for you.
