How To Wait Patiently On God For His Answers
November 6, 2017 9:09 pmHave you been waiting SO patiently for God to give you an answer? You are not alone. I know what it feels like to wait and wait. Learning how to wait patiently on God for HIS answers can be simpler than you think.
God encourages us to wait on Him with courage, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say on the Lord!” Psalm 27:14
Why do you think God wants you to wait patiently on Him for His answers with courage? The word courage means to: Strengthen, be resolute, to prevail, and be secure. When you are waiting on God, do you see how the Lord is strengthening you? He knows what is best for you.
Trust
God tells us in His Word, to trust Him with ALL our heart and lean not to our own understanding. He did not say, “Trust Him with SOME of our heart”. Either we are all in or we’re not. When we get to a place in our hearts where we can trust Him, it will help us persevere.
God has proven Himself faithful and trustworthy in your life, again and again, hasn’t He? He IS Faithful. He IS Trustworthy. When you choose to trust Him, it will make it easier for you to be ready for His answer.
Testimonies
Recently I spoke with a young woman about the importance of sharing her testimony. The word testimony means to repeat, duplicate and do again. The Lord is waiting for you to share your testimony so He can DO IT AGAIN in your life and in the lives of others.
Remembering what God has done for you, will give you HOPE that He will answer you again. I suggest listening to testimonies of what you are believing God for to happen in your life. The more you do, the more you have confidence in God giving you what HE wants you to have.
Ask
If you want God’s Will to come to pass in your life, then whatever you ask God, make sure it is His will coming to pass. It’s a GUARANTEED YES when you pray God’s will be done.
Maybe you have kept asking God the same question before and it seems like you are not hearing Him. I discovered when I have done that, it’s because God has ALREADY answered my prayer. So if this is the case for you, why not ask Him if He’s already given you the answer? When He tells you He has, then act on it.
Magnify
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3
I know how it feels to wait patiently for God to give me an answer. It can feel frustrating at times. But the Lord wants us to MAGNIFY HIM and not the unknown.
So my question to is: “What are you magnifying in your life?” What you magnify will MANIFEST in your life. Ponder that for a moment.
Thanksgiving
Do want to know if you truly BELIEVE GOD?
Its when you give Him thanks BEFORE you receive His answer. That’s how you know you truly believe His Word. If you have been fretting or feeling anxious, it’s time you replace those thoughts with THANKSGIVING.
Your life is so full of blessings. Once you start thanking Him for one, another one will be revealed. The more thankful you are, the more you will trust Him for His answers. If you can’t think of anything to be thankful for, ASK GOD. He will give you countless things to be grateful for as you learn how to wait patiently on God for His answers. Now that you know how to wait patiently on God for His answers, you’ll be so grateful.
What is one prayer you have been waiting patiently for God to answer?

The one question I have been waiting for God to answer is how to begin speaking regularly in the areas of teaching leadership and other topics I have learned about during the past 25 years of business and ministry experience.
Thank you for sharing such a great blog post. I appreciate your insight!
Tom, I KNOW the Lord is going to answer that question for you.
