Trusting God Is Like…
April 11, 2022 2:52 pmWhat is trusting God like? Have you ever heard the phrase, “Let go and let God.”? This is to encourage you that you can let go of whatever you are holding onto and trust God. Is it that simple?
If it were, then we would all be doing it.
Get To Know God
Trusting God begins with getting to know Him. How can you trust anyone if you don’t really know them? The good news is you can start getting to know God’s character and His heart by reading Scripture verses.
Now that is something anyone can do.
The more you read about what God has done for others, the more you can learn to trust Him with your heart. As a result, you will have a more intimate relationship with God.
He is trustworthy and faithful. God has come through for you again and again. He is always the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is always dependable because He keeps His promises. Therefore, God is one of the safest ones you’ll ever know.
Lesson from Abram
Imagine being Abram and God telling you to leave, but not telling you specifically where you would end up. Would you go?
Personally, I’ve been there many times when God has told me it’s time to move AGAIN.
What helps me the most is to remind myself that it’s really God who is moving and I am going WITH Him.
God told Abraham to take His son Isaac and sacrifice him on the altar. When Isaac noticed there was no sacrifice in sight, his father told him, “The Lord will provide Himself” and He did.
When you are in transition and not sure what to do next, remember that THE LORD WILL PROVIDE HIMSELF. HE is the One who is responsible for taking care of you. The Provider takes care of His children, doesn’t He? When you decide to trust God, it’s like following the Most Abundant Provider Of All Time who protects you, loves you, and leads you the way you should go.
Now are ready to trust God like never before?
We are thankful for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support.
