Have You Asked God THESE Questions?
May 30, 2022 2:39 pmWhat if you could ask God questions that you KNEW He would answer? Would you like to know what they are?
I definitely would. For those who know me well, I ask A LOT of questions. In fact, we could have a conversation and all I do is ask you questions. God created me to be very inquisitive.
But I have found out throughout the years, that not all questions are Purposeful Questions.
This morning, in my journaling time with the Lord, He talked with me about asking more Purposeful Questions.
Purposeful Questions
Asking “God Questions” with a Purpose.
Think about that for a moment. You are going to ask Him questions, so you might as well ask Him questions that have a purpose.
So what questions does God REALLY want us to ask Him?
He is the ONLY one who knows the answer to that question. That’s a HINT to your first question to ask Him.
I remember when I was living in St. Cloud, Minnesota, I would ask God a lot of questions back to back. Then I’d walk away before I gave Him an opportunity to answer my questions.
Do you know why?
I REALLY didn’t want to hear His answers. What? Yes. Why? Because I knew He wanted me to change or so I thought.
Do you REALLY want to know the answers to the questions you ask God? Be honest with yourself and God.
Timing Factor
You also have to realize there is a Timing Factor when it comes to hearing God’s answers sometimes.
First of all, you may not be ready for what God wants to share with you. Secondly, you may need more knowledge before He answers you. Finally, it’s possible certain people need to come into your life before you get the answer you were waiting for.
It is God’s desire for you to know your purpose in life, true? I’m sure you have asked Him hundreds of questions pertaining to your destiny. So why not begin by asking God these questions for starters:
The Bible says, “You have not because you ask not.”
I tell people to take the NOTS out of the verse and what do you get?
You have BECAUSE you ask.
Not Getting Answers Yet?
Many times the reason we do not have is that we have not asked SPECIFICALLY what we want. The Lord will help you with this when you ask Him.
This ministry is so blessed by those who pray, encourage, and financially support us. We are thankful for your willingness and obedience to the Lord.
Have a blessed week asking God His Purposeful Questions!
