New Mindset, New Results

I confess I’ve struggled with a bad attitude and negative thoughts lately. Can you relate? God in His usual, gentle way, reminded me of my favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:8. 

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (NKJV).

The Lord Says…

“Do you know that Philippians 4:8 is the mindset of the Holy Spirit? Do you know how much power this scriptural mindset has? This is one of the most powerful truths in My Kingdom! 

“You can partner with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to change circumstances into good, positive, and God-ordained outcomes! 

“How? 

“You simply choose to focus on My good and perfect promises.

“Meditate on My ways, not the world’s ways. You can fast-track your blessings and answered prayers this way.

“A negative mindset is a dangerous and destructive path and only leads to pity, fear, and anxiety. You have the power to stop the enemy. 

“What remains is love, peace, joy, and blessings.

“Ask me if you are thinking or doing anything negative that is interfering with receiving the blessing or promise I have for you. My answer will be revealed in My Word and in your heart.

“Listen carefully. Choosing to obey and receive is your part. The promise and blessing are my part. I never withhold promises or blessings. Only you can do that.”

Prayer

Lord, I repent to you for my negative thoughts and actions. I ask you to renew in me a fresh spirit. I know a Holy Spirit mindset takes practice. 

Speak gently to my soul when I am allowing a negative thought to take seed in my heart, so I can squelch the thought under the blood of Jesus, and render it dead.

Thus allowing the power of your promises and blessings to prevail in my life. Amen.

Encouragement

Imagine what results you can experience from now on having a Holy Spirit mindset. The possibilities are endless. When you think the thoughts He wants you to think, you can expect what He wants you to expect.

I encourage you to meditate on Philippians 4:8 this week in different translations so you can understand more of how God wants you to think about your circumstances. He promises He will give you PEACE when you think His thoughts.
