God’s Word For YOU In 2022
March 21, 2022 2:03 pmWhat is God’s Word for you in 2022? This is a question one of our A Transforming Word Ministries Board members asks us today. Our guest contributor is Pastor Mitch Ivey from Grace Fellowship Church in Kearney, Nebraska. I promise you, that this word of encouragement will help you understand Abba Father’s heart for you. Therefore, take your time reading this inspiring Word.
GOD’S ENCOURAGING WORDS FOR YOU IN 2022
God is speaking! He has been speaking. And He will continue to speak!
Current events over the course of the past several years have caused a lot of believers to look at the circumstances of the world and let that voice shout over the voice of God in their lives.
As we entered 2022 I heard the Lord loudly in my spirit declare that He had words of encouragement, words of growth, and words of direction for His people in 2022.
Many people have heard words from the heart of the Father throughout the past few years but the circumstances of the world have caused us to let them go quickly and not contend steadfastly with the Lord for what He is speaking to His children.
As a parent, it is important for my children to hear from me. For them to hear me give them encouragement that trumps the voices of discouragement they face every day.
For them to hear me give them loving correction that pulls them closer to my heart; not demanding words that push them away. So for me to help them truly see their hearts, gifts, and abilities to prepare them for the future jobs, ministries, and servanthood that will bring them great joy.
In the same way, our Heavenly Father wants to speak to our identity, pull us closer to His heart, and give us direction. He does this because we are His children, and He has a Kingdom that we are part of.
CHALLENGING REMINDER
This year I’ve been challenged to keep reminding myself and those around me of the words of life the Father is and has spoken this year. I’ve needed to remind myself to protect the word and not let the enemy steal it from me.
I remind myself that I need to partner with His word and put it into action in my life. I’ve needed to remind myself to not let the worries of this age drown out the words that the Father has spoken to my heart. We have a loving Heavenly Father.
In the first week of 2022, the Lord took me to a portion of Scripture that I had not meditated much in and He began to give me revelation regarding the Word that He is speaking in my life for 2022.
In Deuteronomy chapter 20 it is written to the people of Israel as instruction for engaging in battle. And I needed to be reminded that there is always a battle over the Words that the Father is speaking to me. It’s never uncontended.
So in this chapter, there are a few things that stick out. One is that in order to do battle over the Word we have to eliminate the distractions in our life that want to confuse us and make us simply forget what God has spoken.
But before they are reminded of those things the Scripture says this, Deuteronomy 20:4 (CSB), “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
It’s such a great reminder. The Lord is with you. The Lord is fighting for you. And He desires victory in your life.
WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO YOU IN 2022?
Have you sought time to simply sit at the feet of the Lord quietly without distraction to hear His heart for you in this season?
Have you guarded those words by writing them down, clearing out the clutter that would want to rob you of them, and reminding yourself of the truth when the enemy comes with his lies?
Does this word from God reveal that you look different? Spiritual growth? Healed relationships? New direction? If so, have I sought God about the steps I need to take to partner with Him to see this word come to pass in 2022?
If God has spoken a word to you – the events of 2022 have not been a surprise to Him – he has strength for you. Amen!
Now that you know God’s Word for you in 2022, what are you going to do with it?
Hearing God is the focus of A Transforming Word Ministries. This ministry has been a blessing to me personally and as a board member, I’ve been able to see the wonderful fruit of lives being transformed as individuals begin to hear the voice of God and gain confidence in their relationship with him.
Supporting this ministry is a way that I can help others gain the strength and freedom that God has in their lives. Maybe you would like to join me with your support as well! Together we can help many receive and communicate the love of God one life at a time. – Pastor Mitch Ivey
ENCOURAGEMENT
What a powerful, encouraging word. It’s possible some of you may not have a “word” for 2022 YET. Have you asked Him for one?
If not, now would be a great time to ask Him. I also recommend you ask the questions that Pastor Mitch shared with us. Above all, do this not just for you, but for others.
In conclusion, you can be ONE question away from your breakthrough. Selah!
TESTIMONY TIME
If you have not listened to your Soaking Prayers yet, I highly encourage you to do so. God speaks to your heart through these anointed prayers. Here is a testimony you’ll like.
“I received the Soaking Prayer and listened to it immediately and was so blessed by it. Thank you!” T.B.
Have a blessed week seeking the Lord for your Word for 2022.
