Daily Life Lesson #4 – God Provides For Himself

Do you remember when Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac? His son asked him where is the lamb for the burnt offering. Abraham said, “The Lord will PROVIDE FOR HIMSELF the lamb”. It’s true, God provides for Himself.

Did you see how Abraham SAW God?

𝐇𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅.

God OWNS everything because He is THE OWNER. It is HIS responsibility to provide, not ours.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

You belong to Him and He is the ONE taking care of you. There is ONLY ONE Provider and it’s not you, it’s God Almighty.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐌.

He provides for Himself. That is His responsibility. So what’s our responsibility?

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬. 𝐖𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐈𝐌.

He is the One to provide everything you need. That’s on Him, not on you. He has given you the ability to work so you can bless others in need. The Owner owns. The Steward manages and stewards what ONLY belongs to the Owner.

𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

If you have taken the role of provider and the responsibility that belongs to God, then REPENT.

Ask the Lord for forgiveness, forgive yourself, and ask the Lord to help you repent (think a new way). And remember, God provides for Himself.
